LE GALANT est une suite de pièces composées par Richard Forest. La marche printanière, de l’album Tradison de passage, suivit du 6/8 Le Galant et la Marche pour Anne-Marie, en l’honneur de la conjointe du gigueur Pierre Chartrand. Suivent La marche des élèves, composée pour les nombreux étudiants en musique traditionnelle de Richard et Sabin et finalement La marche Alexis, fils de Pierre et Anne-Marie.

LE GALANT is a suite of pieces composed by Richard Forest. LA MARCHE PRINTANIÈRE is from the album Tradison de passage; followed by the 6/8, LE GALANT; MARCHE POUR ANNE-MARIE in honour of the partner of stepdancer, Pierre Chartrand. LA MARCHE DES ÉLÈVES was composed for the numerous students of traditional music of both Richard and Sabin; and finally LA MARCHE ALEXIS for the young son of Pierre and Anne-Marie.
